“I’m so nervous,” I said while pacing back and forth. My mom laughed while tidying the livingroom.
“Don’t be I’m sure you will make some great friends on your first day” she said smiling.
“Thanks, mom,” I said smiling back. If there is one thing I hate it’s moving away. Cause I have to start all over again. Going to a new high school, making new friends. Tomorrow is my first day of school and I just hope it won’t be a disaster.
“I’m going out for a bit okay,” I said to my mom while grabbing my jacket.
“Okay don’t be late at home,” she said smiling and I nodded my head. I grabbed my phone, wallet, and earplugs and headed out. I wanted to look around the neighborhood for a while. It seemed there are some malls close by. I put in my earplugs and walked calmly until I reached the malls. I saw a music shop that caught my eye and instantly went to it. I looked through some cd’s while humming to a song I was listening to.
“Oh,” I said seeing a cd of an artist my mom likes. I decided to buy it for her as a gift. I turned around and bumped into a hard chest making me stumble. I felt a pair of strong arms grabbing my upper arms making sure I wouldn’t fall.
“I’m so sorry,” I said quickly. I looked up to meet the person and my eyes widened. It was a really handsome guy around my age. He had black hair and wore a beanie. I looked down scanning his appearance. He was wearing a pair of ripped jeans with a white plain shirt.
“It’s okay,” he said smiling making my heart skip a beat. Omygosh his smile was just too cute.
“You like k.will?” He asked making me confused for a second and then I looked at the cd I was holding knowing what he was talking about.
“Oh it’s for my mom,” I said and he nodded his head in understanding. He smiled and stook his hand out.
“I’m Jungkook,” he said smiling and I shook his hand.
“Y/N” I said softly trying so hard not to blush.
“You don’t look familiar here”
“Ah, I just moved here so I’m pretty new,” I said smiling.
“Oh, really I live around here. Want me to show you around?” He asked and I gladly excepted his offer. Woow just came living here and I already made a friend. Jungkook showed me around the neighborhood a little. He showed me the malls, where I could take the subway, where I could take the bus and all that kind of stuff.
“Thank you so much for showing me around but I have to go now,” I said smiling and he nodded his head.
“No problem I will see you around sometime,” he said while smiling brightly and I nodded my head. I went back home and gave my mom the cd I bought. Of course, she was really happy and started listening to it immediately. I headed to my room and took a nice long shower. After I was done I plopped on my bed sighing.
“I hope tomorrow is gonna be okay,” I said talking to myself. I played on my phone for sometime before falling asleep.
Today was the day. The day to go to my new school and meet my new class. I nervously entered the school while looking at my schedule. I sighed looking at the paper. I had no idea where I had to be for my first class. It says classroom A1400 but still, I don’t know where it is. I looked around seeing all the students talking and fooling around with each other. They were also eating so I guess it was break time. I decided to just search for the classroom I had to be at after the break while holding my books in my hand. I walked and heard laughter coming from behind me. Suddenly I felt someone bump into me from behind making me fall on my knees and my books together with my schedule on the floor.
“I’m so sorry,” a guys voice said. I saw someone kneeling down beside me and looked at the person. It was a guy with light brown hair and he looked handsome. Damn, I only bump into handsome guys these days. He was picking up my books and when we made eye contact he shoots me a really cute smile that made me smile too.
“Taehyung that’s so rude. Because of you, she fell” a guy from behind me said in a teasing way.
“Shut up you’re the one who pushed me,” Taehyung said while threatening to slap him. You could clearly see that they were friends. Suddenly a bell rang and all the students started to head out.
“Ah, class is going to start,” the unfamiliar guy said.
“Let’s go Taehyung,” he said but the guy who was holding my books shook his head.
“Go ahead I will be there in a bit,” he said and his friend nodded his head. The guy who apparently is called Taehyung looked at me while smiling.
“Again I’m so sorry. We were fooling around and I didn’t ment to make you fall” he said apologizing making me smile. You could really see that he ment it.
“It’s okay. Thank you for helping me pick up my books” I said and he smiled while handing me my books.
“Are you new?”
“Yeah today is my first day” I explained.
“Oh, my schedule,” I said seeing it still laying on the floor. Taehyung grabbed it and looked at it before handing it to me.
“You’re in the same class as me,” he said smiling.
“Really?” I asked and he nodded his head.
“Let’s go you don’t wanna be late on your first school day,” he said smiling while grabbing my hand and taking me with him.
Luckily we were just in time before class would start. Taehyung took a seat and the spot beside him was empty so he told me to sit beside him.
“I’m Taehyung I didn’t even introduce myself,” he said smiling once I seated down next to him.
“I’m Y/N,” I said smiling and shook his hand. The teacher came in shortly after and like every new kid I had to introduce myself to the class. The teacher started to check if everyone was here.
“Jungkook,” the teacher asked after a while and the classroom remained silent. Jungkook? The guy I met yesterday was called Jungkook. No way what if we were in the same class?
“Jeon Jungkook?” The teacher said but no response. Everybody suddenly started looking at Taehyung.
“Taehyung any idea where your buddy is?” The teacher asked but Taehyung shook his head.
“No sir I dont,” he said and the teacher just nodded his head. Class started and having Taehyung seated next to me was such a relief. He was really nice and so funny. I felt really comfortable when I’m with him and it was really nice. Guess my school day was going just fine.
It was break time and Taehyung said he wanted to spend the break with me. He is so sweet. We both took a seat at a table to eat. I saw him scanning around and suddenly his eyes widened.
“Wait here I will be right back,” he said smiling happily and I nodded my head. He then left.
-Taehyungs POV-
I ran up to Jungkook without him noticing me. I jumped on his back making him startled.
“Where were you?” I asked. He slapped my butt so I would get off his back and I did.
“I just needed to do something,” he said making me narrow my eyes at him.
“What was it?” I asked and he flicked my forehead.
“None of your business,” he said smiling.
“Don’t skip class anymore cause I will seriously beat you up if you do” I said and he just nodded his head multiple times as if I was nagging him. Jungkook was younger than me and my best friend. We have known each other since we were little so I always keep an eye on him. He is like my little brother.
“Oh btw we have a new girl in class and she is really pretty and fun and so sweet. Her smile is really beautiful an-”
“Sounds like you’re in love with her” Jungkook said grinning while interrupting me.
“Well, maybe I am,” I said grinning back.
“I’m having break with her now. Come on I will introduce you” I said smiling. He nodded his head and walked with me until he stopped in his tracks.
“Who is that girl?” He asked while pointing at Y/N
“That’s the new girl” I answered and I saw his eyes lit up with a smile on his face.
“I will see you again sometime,” he said softly while smiling to himself. But I heard what he said and it made me really confused why he said that but I just shrugged it off.
“Come on I will introduce you,” I said smiling while patting his back.
